Katherine Oglietti, Executive Director
Katherine grew up in Pinedale, Wyoming. She received her B.A. in philosophy from Whitman College in Washington. From 2004 to 2008, Katherine served as an Agriculture Extension Peace Corps Volunteer living on the northern border of Nicaragua in the town of Ococona. During her extended service, Katherine researched the progress of community banking initiatives in Nicaragua and published a Spanish-language training manual on the implementation of community banks as a development tool. Katherine is now pursuing joint Master's degrees in Business Administration and International Development from the George Washington University.
Benjamin Nathanson, Development Director
Ben grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He received his B.S. in Communication Studies and Legal Studies from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in 2004. From 2005 to 2007, Ben served as an Public Health Peace Corps Volunteer based in Ocotal, Nicaragua. After his service, Ben earned a Master's in Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins University. Ben now works in the Subcommittee on Health, Education, Labor and Pension on Children and Families in the United States Senate.
Lindsay McCombs, Treasurer
Lindsay grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. She received a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Biology from Bowdoin College in Maine. From 2005 to 2007, Lindsay served as an Environmental Education Peace Corps Volunteer based in Quezalguaque, Nicaragua. After her service, Lindsay earned a Master's in Business Administration from the University of North Carolia in Chapel Hill. Lindsay now works for a Real Estate Investment Trust and resides in Washington D.C..
David Metres Secretary
Dave graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in history. Following graduation, he interned with Environmental Defense Fund in Boulder, CO and researched mountain habitat in California's Sierra Nevada. From 2004 to 2006, he lived and worked in El Jicaral, Nicaragua as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Environmental Education sector. In 2010, Dave graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He will be an associate at the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, LLP in San Francisco, CA

John Kuehnle, Founder & Communications Officer
John lived in Nicaragua between 2002 and 2006. He served as a Community Health Promoter in the town of El Jicaro, Nueva Segovia and then worked as the Technical Trainer for Peace Corps programs in Community Health, Small Business Development and Environmental Education. He has a B.A. in history from Skidmore College and MPH and MBA degrees from Johns Hopkins University. John now is a Health Foreign Service Officer with the United States Agency for International Development in South Africa..

Emilio is Professor at the Universidad Nacional Agraria in Managua, Nicaragua. He completed his Ph.D. in Natural Resources at Cornell University.
